Deploy-Application.exe asking for dotnet 3.5 in windows 10 machine

Hello,

When I run deploy-application.exe in Windows 10, a prompt asks to install dotnet 2.0 or 3.5. is it really mandatory. or is there any way to overcome this. need your help soon. Thanks!!!

Was this resolved? as I am receiving this same indication for Windows 11.

please try version 3.10.2 or higher.

@whendrix are you missing the Deploy-Application.exe.config file?

I figured out (just earlier today) for my scenario that removing (comment out) “” from the “Deploy-Application.exe.config” file resolved my issue.

Strange - working for me on a clean Win10/Win11 machine with v3.10.2 and no .NET 3.5 installed!
