Upgrade to PSADT 4.1.7

Another round, another “silly” question (which has already been asked in the past, but when we were talking about PSADT 3): considering that I had almost completed the migration to PSADT 4.1.5 (of all packages previously managed with version 4), and that 4.1.7 is now out, does the rule of replacing the entire folder and keeping only the Invoke-AppDeployToolkit.ps1 file still apply?

Thanks.

I update PSADT only when I need to.

If I need a new version of an app, I update PSADT if possible, too.

If the app is not broken or in need of an update, we don't change PSADT for the "Fun" of it.

Honestly, I don't think I mentioned anything about fun.

I asked how I could proceed because, in any case, these are applications that are regularly updated, so I will definitely have to rework them. I definitely think it makes sense to update PSADT as well.

All you do is replace the PSAppDeployToolkit folder wholesale with one from the downloaded ZIP file. For the forseeable future, even with 4.3, 4.4, etc, this will be a supported upgrade path.
