My organization would really like to start using the toolkit for our packaging needs. We have some government requirements from certain clients that we cannot use powershell 2.0. I don’t think machines after Windows 7 are even using 2.0 anyway but It shows in the admin guide that a requirement for the toolkit is powershell 2.0. Is that a mistype and actually means that it supports 2.0 and higher or does the toolkit really use powershell 2.0?
Its powershell 2 or higher. Powershell 2 should be actually avoided due to security issues.
The toolkit is not yet compatible with powershell core versions, but the built in windows ones are fine.
