Version 3.10 reported as malware

Hi,

I have just been flagged that our systems prevent running 3.10 as it’s reported as malware (VirusTotal) - No doubt someone tried to use it to package a trojan. Sigh…

We haven’t moved to 3.10 yet, and 3.9.3 runs fine.

What would the alternative be otherwise? Run the PS1 elevated?

This is almost certainly a false-positive, only a couple of vendors from the list of 70+ have flagged it, neither of them big names.

I have raised this to the team however so that we can engage with those particular security vendors to resolve this.

You can certainly run the ps1 directly though - although if you have the deployment set as interactive, the user will see a PowerShell console window appear.
