V4.1.3 - Strange Issue with Revit 2026 Package

I have been beating my head against the keyboard...well not really but felt real close to it. For some reason I cannot get Revit 2026 to install properly from the PSADT toolkit. I have recreated the package from a clean new ADT template and still is has a strange error that pops up and hopefully some other pairs of eyes can help resolve it.

At a quick glance (As it's Patch Tuesday I'm currently patching numerous systems :grin:)...
I see you are using PSADT 4.1.3 - 4.1.8 is currently the latest

It would be useful to see a snippet of your script, as the error message:

infers that the script is looking for something that is not there, and...

It definitely would help to see (some of) your code, Therefore, please could you paste the lines from you script within the Install section from the Show-ADTInstallationProgress to a few lines after line 181 (where this fell over)

Returning to the ScriptStackTrace above, I notice the path to C:\Users\Admin\Downloads\Task Sequence Deployment\Invoke-AppDeployToolkit.ps1 and the : C:\Users\Admin-RW\Downloads\Task Sequence Deployment\Invoke-AppDeployToolkit.ps1 are different - This could be an issue :man_shrugging:

Thanks, I can see what you are doing (But as we use Intune, I wouldn't personally do it all in one script, I'd create dependencies to install all those dependent apps before the Revit installer starts and thus simplifying your script, the advantage is you can change / update the dependent apps without having to repackage your Revit installer).

Anyhow, returning to your log, I think this line gives the necessary clue why it can't run:

It's trying to execute:

I'm guessing this is because the check

contains 2 entries.

When using get-childitem in this way the path returned has a space in it which then doesn't expand out properly when executed. Additionally, some Autodesk installers don't like that you have a space in the folder path.

I use these 3 lines instead:

$adODISInstaller = "$($adtSession.DirFiles)\image\Installer.exe"
$adODISCollection = "$($adtSession.DirFiles)\image\Collection.xml"
Start-ADTProcess -FilePath "$adODISInstaller" -ArgumentList "-i deploy --offline_mode -q -o `"$adODISCollection`"" -WaitForMsiExec

Many custom installers cannot handle spaces in paths. Some can handle anything other than 8.3 paths either.
