Upgrading Adobe Acrobat Pro DC from x86 to x64

We have Adobe Acrobat Pro DC (22.003.20282) deployed to a large number of computers using the toolkit. This is the 32bit version of the application and now that we are packaging version 23.006.20320 of the application I would like to switch us over to the 64bit version.

Does anyone have any tips or recommendations on the best way to go around that with the toolkit?

I don’t think the updater included with the 64bit version is able to perform a direct update.

as part of the installation, detect the 32bit version and uninstall it.
Then install the 64 bit version.
