Deploy-Application.exe (v3.6.7) does not run with most parameters

I am currently deploying Java 1.8.0_65 using v3.6.7, but I cannot get the install to run using “Deploy-Application.exe -DeploymentType Install -DeployMode NonInteractive -TerminalServerMode:$True”. The Deploy-Application.exe starts, then exits with no logging. Change the ‘.exe’ to ‘.ps1’ and the script will run.

Run “Deploy-Application.exe -DeploymentType Install” and the script will run. Adding any other parameter, alone or combined, and Deploy-Application.exe will not run.

I’ll be happy to send you my deployment package (minus the 47MB Java MSI)

I always develop and test using the “Deploy-Application.ps1”, but deploy in SCCM 2012 R2 using “Deploy-Application.exe”

Changes to “user install mode” and back to “user execute mode” for installing/uninstalling applications for Remote Destkop Session Hosts/Citrix servers.

Disables logging to file for the script. Default is: $false.

I think this is your problem:

The -TerminalServerMode parameter is switch type parameter in powershell which means its value is true if just tagged as a parameter.
Try:
